About the Author

Olivia Gilbert completed her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Judson University. After graduating, she started working as an interior design assistant at a boutique home styling studio, where she spent her days sourcing relating texture to colors and helping styling client homes. During her time in the job, she met her now husband, Peter. And now they are parents to two beautiful twin girls. In 2019, she threw a big christmas party for her friends and family, and they devoured the food and praised how good a party planner she is, from the decor to the games to the food. They could pay her to plan holiday parties at their home, and an idea struck her. Today, she is a freelance writer covering about anything that has a holiday marked on the calendar. From fall decor, halloween decorations, Easter game ideas, classic Thanksgiving recipes, and Thanksgiving decor - she has ideas for everyone; whether it is your 1st time organizing a party or your 10th, she writes keeping everyone in mind. Her blog is like her 3rd child; she pours all her love into each one of them, and the best thing about her work is that she is also open to feedback and constructive criticism: “the more the merrier,” she says.
