It is just an hour (less) from San Francisco, but for many, Sonoma is less known that Napa Valley. For that reason, Sonoma is quieter and more &#39;hidden&#39;, and even a day there can be one of thrilling discovery.<br />I&#39;m going to the opening of Ram&#39;s Gate winery on Sept 15, and will report on that.
