While reading this beautiful post I found myself taking a deep breath and felt myself transported back to Provence. My partner and I stayed in Lacoste a couple of years ago and had the most magical experience. I can smell the lavender, hear the warm summer breezes and feel the sun on my face. Which is wonderful considering that its 15 degrees in DC right now. On the last night of our trip we treated ourselves to a truly extraordinary and memorable dinner at Eric Sapet's legendary La Petite Maison de Cucuron. I am sure that Monsieur Hervais knows it well. Thanks for another inspiring post!

I received lots of comments on FACEBOOK and all the pincers on PINTEREST are picking these images up and pinning like mad.

It's fascinating--if you do a search on PINTEREST for THE STYLE SALONISTE…pages and pages and pages of images from my blog all come up on thousands of people's inspiration board. I'm really happy that THE STYLE SALONISTE is such an inspiration and taste-maker for so many people around the US.
It's fascinating to see these pages come up…endless images…and what people especially love and want to emulate.
Guy Hervais is of course a major taste-maker and style director…and I'm happy that his influence will continue and go out to the world. best DIANE
