Paris Leaves Me 'Breathless'

I'm in Paris for a few days — working, conducting research and interviews.

You'll see the results of my work in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, watch 'Breathless' and see Paris in the days of Jean Seberg and Jean-Paul Belmondo. Imagine, a young college girl could get a job selling The International Herald Tribune.

A bientot! (one of these days I will find the widget on Word that spits out letters with accents.)

Happy days, amicalement, DIANE

I wait in breathless anticipation for your latest direct from the streets of Paris. With the age old question "what's new?"...

À bout de souffle (or) Breathless is a marvellous film. Jean Seberg is one of my favourite New Wave heroines with Jeanne Moreau. I love her simple, chic and stripy Breton outfits she wore in the film. Jean-Paul Belmondo is oh-so-nonchalant in his jacket and knitted tie!! They don't make them like that any more. Hope you are having a ball in Paris.

DDS, I'd like to think you are gathering more of Jean-Louis Deniot's incredible work. la

DEAREST FRIENDS-

Paris is not sizzling...and in fact is quite subdued.
lots to report on.
Dinner with JEAN-LOUIS this evening, and a memorable dinner at CASA OLYMPE on MONDAY...and who should walk in all smiles but JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER...working on a FRENCH computer so excuse the odd misspelling etc.
PUCE is popular again, and so is purple...
THANKS to you all for your kind wishes...if have time will go and visit JEAN SEBERG at MONTPARNASSE...I think she is not at PERE LACHAISE...went there once and there are always triste young college students sitting on her grave leaving notes and flowers.
